Join Tipperary County Council for a virtual civic reception on Tuesday November 2at 7.30pm www.facebook.com/tipperarycc, to celebrate and honour Sam Bennett on his outstanding cycling achievements during the 2020 Tour de France.
He won 2 stages and the overall Green Jersey as the most consistent highest finisher, sealing victory in the final stage down the Champs Élysées on 20th September 2020, and becoming only the fifth ever cyclist to win the final stage of the Tour de France and the second Irish cyclist to win the Green Jersey
