Abbey CBS will fly the flag for Tipperary in All-Ireland Senior Schools football semi-final

Abbey CBS Tipperary will be hoping to reach the All-Ireland final for the first time in eight years

Fresh from their Munster final success, the Abbey CBS Tipperary have progressed to the Paddy Drummond Cup/All-Ireland Senior Schools B Football Championship semi-final, where they will face St Attracta's of Tubbercurry, Sligo on Saturday. 

The match will be played at Tuam Stadium at 2.30pm.

It's the second part of a double bill at the Galway venue, with St Brendan's Killarney playing Summerhill of Sligo in the Hogan Cup/All-Ireland Senior Schools A Football Championship semi-final. 

The Abbey retained their Munster title by beating Mitchelstown CBS by 2-8 to 0-11 in the final. 

They're now hoping to gone one better than the class of 2022 and reach the All-Ireland final for the first time since 2015.
