Juvenile Fun Sports Day was a treat for young Tipperary athletes

Dundrum AC's U9 Boys who won Bronze in the Relays at the Moyne AC Juvenile Track and Field Open Day on Sunday last

MOYNE AC JUVENILE OPEN TRACK AND FIELD


Moyne AC held a Juvenile Fun Sports Day and welcomed all juveniles to an Open Track and Field Day on Sunday last, April 16. We had 38 juveniles who competed.


It was a lovely sunny, warm day and there was a lot of great performances. The official results aren't posted yet. So, apologies if something is left out.


In the U8 Isla Ryan and Gearoid Shanahan made their debut with the club with Gearoid winning Bronze in the 200m.


In the Girls U9 Lilly Sheridan won Silver in the 300m.


In the Boys U9 Harry Creedon won Gold in the 60m and Silver in the 300m. Others to compete U9 were Emma Kelly, Ellie Buckley, Robbie O’Neill and Jack Butler.


In the Girls U10 Shona Ryan won Bronze in the 60m and Silver in the Long Jump and 300m. Also competing in the U10 were Leah Shanahan, Harvey Keane and Eoghan O’Neill.


In the Boys U11 Harry Sheridan and Billy Guilfoyle competed.


In the Girls U11 Julie Morrissey won Gold the Long Jump and the 300m, with Ellen Maher winning Bronze in the 300m. Grace Butler, Claire Morrissey, Bella Curling and Isobel Hartnett also competed well.


In the Boys U12 Sean O'Neill won Silver in the 80m and the 500m. Micheal Ryan won Silver in the Long Jump.


In the Girls U12 Lily Creedon won Gold in the 500m and Silver in the 80m. Katelyn Shanahan won Silver in the 500m and Sarah Guilfoyle Bronze in the 500m. Making it a clean sweep for Dundrum in the Girls U12 500m. Aine O'Neill also competed in the U12.


In the Boys U13 Albert Maher won Gold in the 500m and Bronze in the 80m. In the Girls U13 Elisse Kelly won Bronze in the Shot Putt. Also, competing were Lexie Ryan, Emma Morrissey and Molly Butler.


In the Girls U14 Belle Kelly won Gold in the 600m, with Muireann O’Neill, Clodagh Ryan and Caoimhe O’Neill also competing.


In the Boys U16 Donagh Guilfoyle won Gold in the 800m and Bronze in the 100m and Long Jump.
In the Girls U15 Beibhinn Buckley won Bronze in the Long Jump.


In the Girls U16 Ruby Maher won Silver in the 800m. In the relays our teams won the following: Bronze in the Boys U9, Bronze in the Boys U10, Silver in the Boys U13, Bronze in the Girls U11, Bronze in the Girls U13 and Silver in the Girls U14. Well done to all on a great day out.
