Ballylooby National School who successfully represented Tipperary in the Munster Finals of the FAI Primary Schools 5’s Programme.
Yesterday (Wednesday, May 10) at Cahir Park AFC eight boys from Ballylooby National School’s 6th Class, under the guidance of Mr Kieran Scanlon and Ms Aoife Neville, successfully represented Tipperary in the Munster Finals of the FAI Primary Schools 5’s Programme.
After tough battles in the group stages against teams from Kerry and Waterford, they progressed to a 3-2 win in the semi-final.
The boys were then crowned champions when victorious in the final against Scoil Na Mainistreach of Quin, Co. Clare, winning 4-1.
This young team now look forward to making history in the National Finals, to be played in the Aviva Stadium on May 31.
