AWFUL: Tributes pour in for young Tipp boy with cerebral palsy who passed away in hospital

Heartbreaking tributes have poured in for a young Tipperary boy with cerebral palsy who has passed away.

It was announced on Monday that Camron Meehan from Cahir, passed away peacefully at Tipperary University Hospital with his family by his side.

The young lad will be deeply missed by his loving parents Michael and Audrey, his sister Michaela and brother Daniel.

He is survived by his grandparents Nell Meehan and Daniel and Elizabeth Guidera, aunts, uncles, cousins, his carer Linda Guthrie and his many friends. He is predeceased by his grandfather Pat.

Camron's death comes after his cousin raised over €1,000 in a bid to bring him home from the hospital.

Camron's funeral will take place at St. Kieran's Church, Ballylooby, on Friday morning at 11.30am.

After the mass, Camron will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.

The Meehans have requested family flowers only with donations, in lieu, to Scoil Aonghusa.

A statement on RIP.ie said: "The Meehan family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff and students of Scoil Aonghusa in Cashel for all the happy years that Camron spent in their company and to all the wonderful friends he made past and present during his time with them."

Heartbreaking tributes have poured in for Camron from family and friends.
