BREAKING: Gardaí confirm arrests in Tipperary tourist town following public order incident

Gardaí have arrested two males in connection with a public order incident in Cashel, Co. Tipperary, shortly after midnight on Monday, 19 January 2026.

In a statement, Gardaí stated:

“Gardaí attended a public order incident in Cashel, Co. Tipperary on Monday 19th January 2026 shortly after midnight. Gardaí arrested two adult males (one aged in his 20s, one aged in his late teens) at the scene. Both men have been charged and are due to appear before court on a later date.”

Details of the specific offences have not been disclosed.
