Nenagh native Donnacha Ryan is part of Ronan O'Garas backroom team at La Rochelle
A storming comeback from La Rochelle was enough to beat Leinster in an absorbing Champions Cup final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin today.
Leading the backroom team for the French side was Ronan O'Gara and alongside him was Nenagh native Donnacha Ryan.
The two former Munster stars have seen their stock rise in the coaching world and are now rightly seen as two of the best in the world after today's result.
Leinster have only been beaten three times this season but they have now lost twice in a week, firstly to Munster in the Semi-final of the URC and now in the final of the Champions Cup.
La Rochelle defeated Leinster 27-26 this afternoon despite being 17-0 down in the first half.
It is the French side's second successive win in the competition.
