The Senior and Junior Scratch Cup competitions in Roscrea Golf club took place recently and they proved to be a huge success with over 100 players taking part with some players travelling from as far afield as Donegal to compete.
The Roscrea Scratch Cups have grown from strength to strength over the years and this year they had our biggest ever entry, the success of these competitions is mainly due to the continued and loyal sponsorship we receive from Centenary DIY (Senior) and Tipperary Spring Water (Junior) who have been with the club since 2005.
This year the winner of the Senior Scratch Cup was Patrick Bermingham from Castletroy GC and the very popular winner of the Junior Scratch Cup was local man Shane Fletcher from Roscrea Golf Club.
