RIP: Tipp GAA club mourns loss of club stalwart as tributes pour in from around the county

Tributes have been pouring in from around Tipperary in recent days with the news of the passing of Mick Nugent, who was a prominent and popular member of Newcastle GAA club in the south of the county.

Tipperary GAA posted on social media of their sadness at the news, with Mick being a well-known figure in GAA circles in the south of the county in particular, and was a constant sight at games with his recently deceased wife Nellie.

Reposing at Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel (Eircode E91 Y585) on Friday evening from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm.  Removal on Saturday morning to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle (Eircode E91 RT02). 

Funeral Mass on arrival at 11.00 am.  Those who cannot attend can watch live via the Ardfinnan Parish live stream service www.churchservices.tv/ Ardfinnan and click the tab NEWCASTLE. 

Burial will take place afterward in the adjoining cemetery.
