The county Intermediate football championship final between Grangemockler Ballyneale and Aherlow which was due to go ahead in FBD Semple Stadium on this Sunday the 22nd at 1.15pm has been changed.

The game will now go ahead in Ardfinnan, again on Sunday the 22nd at 1pm. There is no extra time. If it ends in a draw it will go to a replay.

Thurles, like other pitches, hasn't had a chance to dry out with the constant rain in recent days so only one game can go ahead there on Sunday and the senior final - Commercials versus Brackens - will go ahead in the Cathedral town.

Tickets for both games can be bought online ahead of the weekend.
