Didn’t repeat the feats achieved in the game against Limerick the previous week, and struggled at times to influence the game from center-forward but did so some good things despite that.
Hit a fine effort directly from a Shelly puck out in the first half but he did work hard and set up a few scores to boot but he didn’t reach the standards he can throughout before being withdrawn in the second half. He is looking fit and ready though and will have better days all going well.
