13. Andrew Ormond
Rating: 6/10
He is getting plenty of chances in the early season and despite the ball not breaking his way for the most part against Dublin, he is showing well and is looking close to the level required at intercounty.
It was always going to be a learning experience for Ormond in his first year at this grade, and he worked like a dog on Saturday and was rewarded for his efforts with a late point to give him something from a hard-working display.
The scores didn’t flow for Ormond but he was getting onto the ball fairly regularly and showed well for deliveries and you’d imagine, that when the ground hardens up, it will suit him more. Worth persisting with.
