11. Conor Stakelum
Rating: 7/10
Cathal O’Neill received plenty of plaudits for his performance overall in this game, but he was second best for the first 35 minutes as Conor Stakelum was everywhere early on.
Stakelum didn’t get on the scoresheet, but he did so much donkey work around the middle third and his tackling and use of the ball was brilliant and a big reason that Tipp led at the break.
Again, it is a case of rinse and repeat as Limerick taking over in the second half seen the subjegation of the Tipperary players, but Stakelum seldom leaves anything back in the dressing room.
