Closing date fast approaching for Tipperary Senior Football Manager applications

The senior manager role with the Tipperary footballers is up for grabs following the resignation of Paul Kelly after the championship run concluded.

Tipperary is a county with huge potential in football however the senior team have struggled in recent seasons the same as the senior hurling team in the Premier County.

The hurling manager Liam Cahill has announced that he is staying put for the 2025 season, but the senior football managers role is currently vacant and the County Board has invited applications from members of the public interested in the role. 

A Tipperary GAA online statement said: "Tipperary GAA is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Football Manager.  Tipperary football board is asking potential candidates who may wish to submit an expression of interest in the role, to please contact the Tipperary football board secretary through email secretary.football.tipperary@gaa.ie or by phone 0863196929.

"The board will accept expressions of interest up to 12pm on Friday the 12th of July and then move the process to the next stage," the statement concluded.
