New book launch and plenty of activities for all at the Cashel Arts Festival

The Cashel Arts Festival weekend opened with a bang last night as those attending can look forward to a superb weekend with plenty of activities for all.
Tonight there is a drumming circle on the plaza for 5.30pm and and a fire show in the Rock Car Park for 8.30pm then as well which is always a family favourite.
Last night local man Tom Woods launched his book as part of the opening evening. It was the first event of the 22nd Cashel Arts Festival where there was also contributions from Oliver Corbett and Patrice Davern.
The book includes Gravestone Inscriptions from the Cathedral Church of St. John the Baptist and St. Patrick’s Rock; The Parish Church of St. John the Baptist; The Presentation Convent, St. Francis Abbey, Cashel. Books are available from TicToc Jewellers in the town.
