Tipperary GAA have confirmed that Philly Ryan has officially been ratified as the county senior football manager on a three-year term.
The Clonmel Commercials club man is a former Tipperary goalkeeper and in recent years, Ryan has acted as a selector and manager at club and underage inter-county levels.
He was Commercials' boss when they claimed the senior county title 12 years ago and he has been a coach/selector in their recent county successes.
