It is a fair achievement to get on this team, especially when you are part of a relegation team. But Ryan couldn't be left aside given the levels he reached in a team devoid of confidence.
He notched 4-27 from play throughout the campaign and his loss to Templederry through injury in the relegation final was incalculable.
