It has been a very busy season for Thurles Crokes athletes where they have a number of competitors in the championships in Nenagh recently.
A Thurles Crokes representative said: "We had 2 athletes at Munster U15 - U19 Indoor Championships in Nenagh. JD Treacy ran a PB in the Boys U15 and Orla Pamplin finished very strongly in Girls U16 800m claiming bronze overall. Well done both."
Elsewhere Tramore Valley Park, Cork was the venue for Munster Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships where race conditions were tough.
First up was the Junior Girls 2500m race where Orla Pamplin ran an exceptional race finishing 12th overall, followed by Katie Butler in 40th. Next up was the Minor Boys 2500m where Christopher Mills finished in a very impressive 12th position.
Liam Carrol was up next in the Junior Boys 3500 and also ran a brilliant race finishing 7th overall. Orla, Christopher and Liam will go on to represent their respective schools in the All Ireland.
