The less said about this game, the better for Connors. He was thrust in at 11 and while it was unexpected, it just didn’t work as the Kiladangan man was chasing shadows for the whole of his time on the pitch.
Withdrawn in the middle of the first half which has been a story of the second half of his league campaign as a whole.
