It wasn’t a lack of effort or possessions on the ball that undid Morgan in the midfield battle, but he was left to plough a lone furrow during the first half as Ethan Twomey and Tim O’Mahony ran amok.
Morgan was quite prominent in that time but he was possibly the only player in the middle eight players that broke even, and as such, he was a victim of the porosity.
Overall it has been a good league campaign for Morgan who has looked the part in the games he has played.
