The on-street collection takes place in south Tipperary on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 to raise funds for South Tipperary Hospice
The final countdown is now underway for Together for Hospice, The National Hospice Movement’s 35th annual Hospice Sunflower Days campaign, with the on-street collection taking place in south Tipperary on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 to raise funds for South Tipperary Hospice.
Hospice volunteers will be selling an array of sunflower merchandise in towns and villages throughout the county to raise vital funds for South Tipperary Hospice. There is also an opportunity to support the hospice online by making a donation on the website www.sunflowerdays.ie.
There is still time for schools, preschools, creches and Montessoris across Tipperary to get involved too by hosting a Hospice Sunflower Fun Day during June. All the details on how to register and join the fun are available on the website.

The funds raised play a vital role in supporting the delivery of specialist palliative care in communities across Ireland. Hospice and specialist palliative homecare services provide free-of-charge care and support to those living with a life-limiting illness, while also helping and supporting the patient’s family members.

Speaking about the upcoming Hospice Sunflower Days on-street collection, Sean O’Donovan, Chairperson, South Tipperary Hospice, said: “With just a few days to go until our on-street collections for this year’s 35th campaign we are calling on the public to support South Tipperary Hospice by purchasing some sunflower merchandise on June 6 or 7.
"There is also the opportunity once again for the public to donate online via the website, www.sunflowerdays.ie, with all funds raised going toward your chosen hospice or homecare service”.
