The children, who are living with serious illnesses, were made honorary Gardaí through the foundation, which works closely with families across the country.
During the visit, they arrived on mini Garda motorbikes and were greeted by members of the Oireachtas and senior Gardaí.

The day included a tour of Leinster House and opportunities for the children to engage with politicians and public servants. The initiative aims to support the children and their families by creating positive experiences and moments of recognition.
