Moycarkey Borris 1-02
Moycarkey Boris started this match with an early goal, with JK Brackens scoring 0-2, which left it a tight match at half-time. JK Brackens came out the stronger in the second half with two goals inside five minutes and two more great efforts at goal.
Moycarkey Borris goalie Christopher Quigley had a fine save inside the opening minutes to keep Moycarkey in touch.
The early rain left the surface slippery, with players slipping around the pitch. Man of the match Bobby Loughnane gave an impressive performance, contributing 1-1 to JK Bracken's win. Number 13 John Maher must have been studying Darragh McCarthy’s free taking, as he did an excellent job on it.
Captains Ultan Jones and Barney Murphy collected the DND Electrical sponsored cup from Mid Chairman John Fahey. Man of the Match Bobby Loughnane was presented with his award by Michelle McKelvey, who also sponsored this award.
