Tipperary teenager and activist Cara Darmody will appear on RTE's Prime Time tonight at 9.35pm.

Cara has been in the news this week after her successful meeting with Tánaiste Simon Harris, where she secured extra funding to help alleviate the assessment of needs backlog in the country.

Tonight Cara, who is from Ardfinnan, will be discussing the assessment of needs national crisis and the outcomes of her recent meeting with Simon Harris, on the current affairs programme which is presented by Miriam O'Callaghan and Fran McNulty.
