Planning permission requested for 91 homes in Tipperary's largest town

A planning application has been lodged with Tipperary County Council for a major new housing development at Parklands Estate, Glenconnor, Clonmel.

The applicant, Yellow Wave Limited, is seeking permission to build a total of 91 new homes on the site.

The proposed development would include 75 two-storey houses; 28 four-bed terraces, 38 three-bed terraces and nine two-bed terraces, as well as 16 apartments in four two-storey blocks.

The application also outlines the construction of roads, footpaths, green areas, public lighting, boundaries and associated services, as well as connections to existing services on the site. A Natura Impact Statement has been submitted with the plans.

Tipperary County Council is due to make a decision on the application by October 29.

If approved, the development would represent one of the largest recent additions to the housing stock in Clonmel.
