1. Inside Access That Took Players by Surprise

One of the most talked-about elements of Blue to Gold is how little many players knew about the project until the trailer appeared online.

Only a handful of panel members were aware that filming was even underway, making some of the insights and footage genuinely surprising to those involved. 

Speaking mere days before the launch of the documentary, Tipperary hurler Willie Connors revealed the players had no input into the final product and had no idea what would be coming to the screen.

This made it feel less staged and instead lets the story unfold naturally through real moments.
