Well-deserved national honour to be bestowed on Tipperary gael at national awards ceremony

A leading figure in Tipperary camogie has been recognised at national level, with Drom & Inch Camogie’s Geraldine Kinane announced as a recipient of a prestigious GAA President’s Award.

The honour is being bestowed in recognition of Geraldine’s outstanding voluntary contribution to camogie and the GAA over a prolonged period.

Widely respected within her club and beyond, she has dedicated countless hours to the development and promotion of the games through her role as Tipperary Camogie PRO in recent years.

The awards ceremony will take place in Croke Park on Friday, January 30, with recipients from across the country gathering to celebrate the vital role volunteers play in sustaining the GAA at every level.

In a statement, Drom & Inch Camogie expressed immense pride in Geraldine’s achievement, describing the award as richly deserved and praising the calibre of person they are fortunate to have within the club.

The GAA President’s Awards are among the highest accolades for volunteers within the association, highlighting the often unseen work carried out behind the scenes in clubs and communities nationwide.
