REVEALED: Cashel King Cormacs looking to add floodlights to GAA facilities

The project would see six towering 21-meter galvanized steel poles, each fitted with powerful 500 lux floodlights, casting a bright glow across the pitch and transforming the grounds after dark.

A new proposal aims to light up Cashel GAA club grounds at Leahy Park, Cooper's Lot, bringing the possibility of evening games and brighter community events to Cashel. The plan has been submitted to Tipperary County Council for review.

The project would see six towering 21-meter galvanized steel poles, each fitted with powerful 500 lux floodlights, casting a bright glow across the pitch and transforming the grounds after dark.

Tipperary County Council is anticipated to reach a decision regarding the application by March 15, 2026.
