Councillor Pat English has called on Tipperary County Council to ask Minister for Foreign Affairs Helen McEntee to support the Occupied Territories Bill, which would prohibit trade with Israel in goods and services from illegal settlements.
Senator Frances Black introduced the bill to ban trade in goods and services produced in illegal settlements in occupied territories, including the Palestinian West Bank. The latest draft was released in June 2025.
