Over €57 million will be invested in upgrading Tipperary’s roads.

Key projects will focus on transforming the N24 along Main Street and Fr Matthew Street in Tipperary Town.

Deputy Michael Lowry supports allocating over €2 million to projects in the Thurles area.

Deputy Michael Murphy, Chair of the Oireachtas Transport Committee, also stressed that more money is still needed to improve the N24 between Limerick and Waterford.
