ALERT: Flames erupt on busy M7 as vehicle fire sparks traffic chaos in Tipperary

Motorists travelling westbound on the M7/N7 are experiencing disruption this morning following reports of a vehicle on fire between Junction 26 Nenagh West and Junction 27 Birdhill.

The incident, which was reported at approximately 10.15am, occurred around 10 kilometres west of the Nenagh area. Lane 1 has been affected as emergency services respond to the scene.

Drivers have been advised to expect possible delays and to exercise caution when approaching the area. Road users are urged to reduce their speed and remain alert while travelling through the affected stretch of motorway.
