Deputy Michael Murphy enthusiastically supports the expansion at Scoil Aonghusa in Cashel.

The project will bring 14 additional special education classrooms, therapy rooms, and dedicated spaces, all designed to provide more tailored support for students with complex special needs. Deputy Murphy describes Scoil Aonghusa "a centre of educational excellence serving children with complex special needs and this expansion will significantly enhance special education provision in the region.”

Stakeholders anticipate that the new facilities will be completed by September 2027.

At present, the school on Cahir Road must make do with offices and corridors as makeshift classrooms for its students.
