Take a tour of Redwood Castle, Lorrha

Redwood Castle, Lorrha will open to the public from 2 to 6 pm between July 16th and September 5th for summer 2018  This beautifully restored 13th century Norman tower house is owned and run by a lady named Coleesa Egan. Upon arrival visitors will be warmly welcomed by a local guide and receive a talk on the history of the castle from when it was built right up to the present era. Tours also include climbing the spiral stairs to the banquet rooms and bedchambers, reflecting in our oratory, viewing old photos of the castle and enjoying views of the surrounding country side from the roof top terrace.
