Emma Lacey is a 23 year old Clonmel woman whose life has been destroyed by crippling spinal diseases for the last six years and has just recently been diagnosed with a serious brain condition. Previously Emma was a sports fanatic and now faces a serious brain surgery with her 6th spinal surgery following merely weeks later.
The Premier Harriers Hunt Club are proud to announce that we will be hosting a Charity Ride in aid of The Emma Lacey Trust on the 16th of September 2018 at 12.30pm in John Sheehan's yard (next to Davern's Equestrian Centre) in Tannersrath, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary. Horses €25 Ponies €15

All funds raised from our Charity ride will be used to contribute to Emma's Trust and build an accessible downstairs bedroom and wetroom extension which she urgently requires. Funds will also be put in place to assist in meeting the huge costs involved in future medical care under neurology, orthopaedic and pain management consultants. It will allow Emma to avail of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, psychology and a range of services and interventions by other health care professionals. These services will be required during rehabilitation and long term care on the journey ahead for Emma as she battles to try and salvage some quality of life.
