9. Michael Cahill (Thurles Sarsfields)
Cahill is a man reborn and his new role at midfield is really bringing out the best in the All-Ireland winning corner-back. While the pace might be gone, the hurling brain is still very much operating at full capacity for Cahill as he was a big influence on the game last Saturday. He was all over the pitch and does the simple things so well, setting up attack after attack while always being the outlet for the defence to distribute to. His performances have been a real plus for Sars this year.
