14. Denis Maher (Thurles Sarsfields)
Another Maher graces the team and this one was certainly not as expected as the other two. That's not to say he isn't a quality player, but he put in performances that we haven't seen in years from him, with the game plan firmly based around direct ball into the big full forward. His fielding, striking, link up play, and scoring was all at a very high level and his partnership with Paddy Creedon will be encouraging for Sarsfields in years to come.
