People in Tipperary can now recycle their Christmas tree for free at  centres around the county

People in Tipperary can now recycle their Christmas tree for free at centres around the county

The public can now recycle their Christmas tree free of charge from this week at locations around Tipperary.

Tipperary County Council has released a list of participating centres on their website.

Christmas trees can be recycled free of charge from Tuesday, January 4, to Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Christmas trees can be dropped off at:

  • Nenagh Recycling centre
  • Roscrea Recycling Centre
  • Templemore Town Park
  • Parnell Street Car Park, Thurles
  • Clonmel Recycling Centre Carrigeen
  • Waller's Lot Recycling Centre, Cashel
  • Donohill Recycling Centre
  • Fairgreen Car Park- Carrick-on-Suir
  • Co Council Depot Cahir Business Park
