The annual Carol Service returns to Thurles this Sunday evening

The annual Carol Service returns to the Cathedral on the Assumption on Sunday  next December 18th at  7.30 p.m.

This century old tradition, started by St. Francis of Assisi, is eagerly awaited in Thurles parish and is a way of expressing through carols, words and dance the great joy at Christmas and the Birth of our Saviour.

Local choirs and groups will be performing and there is always a wonderful atmosphere in the Cathedral which will be heaving with parishioners and people from the surrounding parishes also. Beidh failte roimh cách - everyone is welcome.

CONFESSION TIMES
TUESDAY DECEMBER 20TH: Bóthar na Naomh Church: 6.00 – 7.00 p.m. (Mass @ 7.00 p.m.) Confessions continue after Mass until 8.00 p.m.


CHRISTMAS EVE
Cathedral: 1.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m.


CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES
BÓTHAR NA NAOMH CHURCH: Christmas Eve – 5.30 p.m. Christmas Day: 8.00 a.m. & 10.00 a.m. (Please note: NO 7.00 p.m. on Christmas Day).

CATHEDRAL: Christmas Eve: 7.00 p.m.; Christmas Day: 9.00 a.m. & 11.00 a.m.
