Tipperary County Council have announced their decision to close the L-6301 Ballinard to Killenaule, Co.Tipperary to facilitate works taking place.
The road will be closed from 07:00hrs on Monday 13 January 2025 to 19:00hrs on Friday 14 March 2025.
Tipperary County Council have advised that the following alternative routes can be taken during the closure: Traffic travelling from Coolbawn to Rathkenny Junction to be diverted on the R689 at Coolbawn Cross and turn at Crosscannon onto The New Line L2301 and turn right in Drangan Village onto the L2303.

And vice versa for traffic travelling from Rathkenny Junction to Coolbawn Cross.
This road closure is to facilitate the laying of new Water to eradicate Leakage and water quality issues.
