ALERT: Tipperary County Council announce intention to close slip roads on M7 temporarily

The roads will be closed from February 4 until February 15

Tipperary County Council have announced their intention to close junction 22 and junction 23 on the M7 motorway, for a period of two weeks.

The following roads will be closed from Tuesday February 4 at 7pm until Saturday February 15 at 6am:

  • Junction 22 Eastbound Off slip
  • Junction 22 Eastbound On Slip
  • Junction 23 Eastbound Off Slip
  • Junction 23 Eastbound On Slip

Tipperary County Council suggest the following alternative routes be taken by motorists:

  • (A)Diversion Route 1 – Junction23, R445, N62 to Junction 22.
  • Diversion Route 2- M7 Eastbound to Junction21, M7 Westbound to Junction 22.
  • (B)Diversion Route 1 –N62, R445,R435 to Junction 21.
  • (B)Diversion Route 2- M7 Westbound to Junction 23 , M7 Eastbound.
  • (C)Diversion Route 1 –Junction 24, R445 to Junction 23.
  • (C)Diversion Route 2- M7 Eastbound to Junction 22, M7 Westbound to Junction 23.
  • Diversion Route 1 –R445, n62 TO Junction 22.

The reason for closure is to facilitate duct proofing Works.
