Shock and sadness after sudden death of Irish influencer as tributes flow

Irish-Jamaican influencer Tanice Elizabeth Samuels has passed away, her family have confirmed.

The social media community has been rocked by the news that the Belfast-based mum-of-two passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Monday.

The social media influencer and content creator previously worked as a lawyer before changing career path to pursue content creation full-time. She was known for her fashion, beauty and lifestyle content which she shared to her Instagram account with over 17,000 followers.

Tanice's family confirmed the sad news of her passing and thanked all those who had supported her in a post on the influencer's official Instagram account.

Sharing a blank white square with the post, her family said: "It is with a heavy heart that we are posting this message.

"Our beautiful, smart and kind Tanice Elizabeth Samuels passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday 18th December.

"Thank you for all the love and support you have shown Tanice on her journey."

Fans and followers were devastated by the news and flooded the comments section to share their sympathies.

Well-known UK influencer and content creator Patricia Bright said: "Rest in peace, heart breaking for the family, sending prayers at such a difficult time."

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who boasts almost 20 million followers on the platform, said: "Tanice you will be missed greatly by so many. I always enjoyed our time together.

"Such a vibrant and beautiful woman. My thoughts are with your family who you always spoke of so dearly."

Another user said: "Can’t fathom that this is real, and what you are all going through. Tanice was a rare beauty, genuine, and so so kind. Sending love and strength to you all, and all who love her."
