A EuroMillions Plus player in Wicklow had a Friday night worth celebrating after scooping the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s draw.

The online player became the biggest winner in Ireland after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket online on the day of the draw, Friday April 12.

The winning numbers in the Friday 12th April EuroMillions Plus draw were: 04, 13, 32, 35, 38.

The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification and email has been sent to the winner’s online account. The Wicklow player is advised to make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.

As there was no winner of the massive €95,455,077 jackpot on offer in Friday’s main draw, Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is now set to roll towards a massive €105 million (estimated).

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We are encouraging all of our online players in Wicklow to log into their National Lottery accounts today to carefully check their tickets from last night’s draw as one player has officially become a top prize winner. The online player got their weekend started in style after scooping €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw.”

“For players hoping to still be in with a chance of winning big this weekend, tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €8.2 million. Tickets can be purchased in-store, through the app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales this evening.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago. In 2022 alone, €259.5 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
