RIP.ie is now offering users in the UK and Ireland the opportunity to order memory plaques with QR codes through their website. The RecaptureOne plaque allows users to "celebrate the life of a loved one while keeping their valued memories alive."
The plaque works by being placed at a loved one's special place and can be scanned with a phone camera to watch special memories of loved ones after they have passed.

The QR code is intended to allow users to celebrate the life of their loved one as a family for generations to come by sharing content where they can hear their voice, see their smile and remember all the good times had with that person. RecaptureOne describes it as "a forever love story".

The plaque is made from perspex, making it weatherproof and durable. The size and shape of the plaque are discrete and of good quality. The plaque is 9.5cm x 9.5cm but the size can be altered.

The plaque can be fitted discreetly to a gravestone, urn or memorial site. There are also plenty of colours to choose from including black, silver, gold, blue and white. Memory plaques cost between €125 and €150.
