A planning application has been submitted this month to take up a vacant space in Nenagh Retail Park.

The premises between Woodies DIY and Aldi was previously occupied by Iceland Frozen Foods but has remained empty since their closure in 2023.

Now Melcorpo Commercial Property Unlimited, the owners of Nenagh Retail Park, have submitted planning permission to change its use from the permitted convenience retail foodstore to provide for a bulky good retail warehouse use with ancillary comparison sales space as well as a dispensary and consult room as well as permission for a number of other changes to the premises.

A decision on how to progress is due from Tipperary County Council by 6 March 2025.
