Securing STEM talent during the current global trade instability is crucial to securing Ireland’s economic future, the Forum hosted in Buswells Hotel, Dublin heard.

According to a national survey of the public by Interactions Research commissioned by Engineers Ireland, 80 per cent of Irish adults believe that the government should do more to address the high drop out rates of STEM students in third level courses.

The Engineers Ireland STEM Opportunities’ Leaders Forum brought together leaders from across the public sector, education, and industry to consider issues of importance in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
