Stop/Go system to be in place on busy Tipperary road for nearly a month

A full-time, one-way stop/go system will be in place from Tuesday, October 27, until Friday, November 20, 2026.

The system will operate from the former Birdhill Co-op building to the Old Barracks Coffee Bar on the western/Limerick end of the scheme.

The temporary system is necessary to safely accommodate essential works, including kerbing, footpaths, cycle lanes and road pavement, as the new 6-metre-wide road carriageway and active travel infrastructure are completed.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and expect some delays in the area.
