'Still can't believe he is gone......'
Tributes have poured in for Tipperary local Henry Holmes remembered as a true gentleman.
Henry was from Main Street in Cappawhite in Tipperary and died on March 30th 2025, peacefully at UHL Limerick, surrounded by his family.
He is sadly missed by his loving sister Diane, beloved daughter Rachel and her mother Alice, son Evan, brother-in-law John, nephews Stephen and Eoin, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and fondly remembered Henry, with one mourner writing,
"Our deepest sympathy to Diane, Rachel, Evan and all the family, friends and colleagues on the very sad passing of Henry.
He was a lovely man and always ensured the Smyths delivery was left in a secure place hidden from small eyes. He will be sorely missed. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace."

Another message said, "My sincerest condolences to all of Henry's family, friends and colleagues. He was a gent, we will really miss him, everyone in the house knew his name and enjoyed running out for the chat while collecting our deliveries. May he rest in peace."
"So sorry Diane for your loss and to his children and extended family..was only talking to him a few days ago still can't believe he is gone..we grew together as neighbours staying friends ever since ..he was a gentleman, sincere and funny and genuine in everything he did ..life is so very unfair that he is gone so young ...may he rest in peace," another mourner said.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Cappawhite (E34 WR83) Friday evening (4th April) from 5.30 pm. until 7.30 pm. Arriving in Our Lady of Fatima Cappawhite Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Cappawhite cemetery.
