Tipperary’s Brian Gleeson has had a year to remember after lining out with the Ireland Under 20s, to great success this year, and then signing a new contract with Munster.
Now, after impressing in training games, the Loughmore native is ready to make his senior debut today if called upon.
He is named on the bench for Munster’s eagerly anticipated game with the Barbarians in Thomond Park.
The 19-year-old is a former Thurles RFC and Rockwell College player and will have a familiar face alongside him today as Diarmuid Barron is also part of the Munster lineup, taking his place in the front row.
The women’s game kicks off the day's action against the Barbarian's at 2pm and the men’s game starts at 4.30pm.
