Ballylooby National School invites you to enrol for 2023!

Ballylooby National School is a mixed, nine teacher school 7km from Cahir. We are proud to have a dedicated team of enthusiastic, caring and diligent teachers.

Our large campus provides ample space for all pupils to play, with a dedicated playground for Junior Infants and an astro-turf facility. We are also delighted to have recently acquired over three additional acres of land adjacent to the school, which is currently being used by the children for a variety of sports and recreation.

With the help of our wonderful extended school community we have expanded our school garden and the children enjoy growing and taking care of a variety of vegetables and wildflowers. We have also recently planted a number of native Irish trees and the children enjoy learning all about these. 

Ballylooby NS caters for a diverse cohort of students and participates in a wide range of activities. From traditional team sports, in which we have enjoyed great success, to choirs, STEM and Green and Active Flag initiatives, we really have something for everyone!

Ballylooby NS is delighted to be able to offer an on-site after-school club from 2-3pm Mon-Fri, and is serviced by two bus routes.
