Thirty-seven people were agonisingly close to winning Carrick Swan GAA Club's Lotto jackpot last week. They matched 3 and won €20 each.

This week's Lotto jackpot is a massive €14,750. The draw takes place on Thursday night each week, and it costs just €2 to enter.

Numbers drawn last week were 07, 11, 21, 23.

Adult Hurling, Football, & Camogie

The Junior B camogie team had a great win over Silvermines in Páirc na nEalaí on Sunday last. The Junior B camogie team welcome Ballingarry to Páirc na nEalaí next weekend.

The Premier Intermediates will play their county quarter-final next weekend.

Juvenile Scene

Under 9 players travelled to Semple Stadium in Thurles on Saturday for a hurling blitz. It may have been the first time this group of players got to step onto the hollowed turf of Tom Semple’s field but looking at the magnificent skills on show, it’s fair to say that they’ll be back there again one day.

On Sunday next the Under 15 boys take on St. Mary’s in their South Semi-Final.

They play St. Mary’s once again next Monday. The Under 17s play St Mary's of Clonmel in their Shield semi-final.

Meanwhile, the Under 13s beat Skeheenarinky in Round 1 of their Winter Hurling League on Saturday on The Green. This Friday, they play Ballybacon Grange in Goatenbridge at 6.30pm and they play Ballingarry in Páirc na nEalaí next Tuesday, September 17 at 6pm.

Other News

Páirc na nEalaí proudly hosts the annual Noel Russell Memorial Cup between Edmund Rice Secondary School in Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel High School next Wednesday, September 18. The game is in memory of the late Noel Russell, who did tremendous work at the Swan Club over the years and made a magnificent contribution to Tipperary GAA and South Tipperary GAA. He was also a great coach and friend to both schools for many years. Edmund Rice and it's fitting that these two teams compete in his honour.

12 Days of Christmas Draw

The Carrick Swan 12 Days of Christmas Draw tickets are now on sale. Tickets cost €50 and there is €20,000 in prize money up for grabs. The bumper final €10,000 draw will take place on December 14. Tickets can be purchased from the usual sellers or buy online at CarrickSwan.com/draw.
